Dr. Deborah Yang

Deborah Yang, MD
Hawaii Permanente Medical Group
Cosmetic Dermatology and Mohs Surgery

Dr. Yang is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in the full spectrum of skin conditions, including cosmetic procedures, laser surgery, Mohs surgery, and general dermatology. Her deep understanding of the complexities of the skin, combined with her technical skill and her innate sense of beauty and balance, keep her in high demand for cosmetic dermatology procedures.

As a cosmetic dermatologist, Dr. Yang performs procedures, such as the injection of fillers to improve the appearance of deep lines on the face, botulinum toxin injections to reverse wrinkles, and laser surgery for the treatment of age spots, scars, and hair removal. She also performs skin surgery to remove benign growths.

Dr. Yang has a special interest in the diagnosis and care of skin cancer. She is one of few surgeons in the nation trained in Mohs micrographic surgery, a special technique that spares the amount of skin with precise removal of the cancer. After her training, she joined the faculty at Baylor College of Medicine in Texas where she taught residents Mohs surgery and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Yang has been named in Honolulu Magazine’s list of Top Doctors for 2015 in the area of dermatology. The list is compiled by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd which publishes a nation-wide list to help guide consumers to top doctors and top hospitals.

A Moanalua High School graduate, Dr. Yang is excited to return home to Hawaii to work as a Kaiser Permanente physician at The Aesthetic Center.
