Prabhat K. Bhama, MD, MPH
Dr. Prabhat Bhama is double board certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has a particular interest in facial nerve surgery, MOHS reconstruction, nasal cosmetic and reconstructive surgery (rhinoplasty), and facial cosmetic surgery (facelift, browlift, blepharoplasty, scar revision).
Although surgery is his specialty and passion, Dr. Bhama knows that surgery is not always the best option for all patients. He believes in being forthright with his patients regarding expectations and risks and partnering with them to decide on a particular treatment pathway.
Dr. Bhama and his wife were married in Hawaii many years ago and fell in love with the islands. They were thrilled to be able to move here and become a part of the local community.
When he’s not working, Dr. Bhama loves spending time with his family, including his wife, two daughters and two dogs. He also enjoys photography, road biking, and playing the saxophone.
For one week each year Dr. Bhama serves as a volunteer surgeon for an international medical mission, performing reconstructive surgery on children who were born without ears.
