Bio

Music is a passion for Dr. Chantelle Nakata. She has been playing the piano and viola since she was a child, and every tone, pitch, timbre, and texture of sound was a source of wonder for her. She had always been intrigued by how the ear interprets sounds and this has led naturally to her interest in audiology and how she would be able to help people with hearing disorders rediscover the sounds they love.

Dr. Nakata earned her doctor of audiology degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She is trained to both conduct audiologic diagnostic tests and to dispense hearing aids. Proficient in a wide range of hearing aid software and fitting software, she fits, evaluates, and verifies the appropriateness of the devices to each individual.
Dr. Nakata is a precise and clear communicator whose patients appreciate her gentle manner and attention to detail. She tailors each encounter to the specific individual and works with their needs in mind.
